SINGER Hael Husaini has dispelled talk that he has gone under the knife to improve his appearance, Harian Metro reported.

He said he had no inkling how such a rumour could have started.

“What can I say? As we grow older, we are better at taking care of ourselves,” said Hael, 35.

“When I was young, perhaps I did not give much thought to my appearance, but as I grow older, I am more conscious and more disciplined.

“Previously, I had no team. I did everything myself. I would comb my hair and apply hair gel. Now, there is a team to get me ready.”

> It was unfortunately a case of lightning striking twice for a bridal boutique owner when her rented house was damaged in a fire, less than a week after it was burgled.

Marina Mohd Zainol, 43, told Sinar Harian that she was very much troubled by the fact that most of the items destroyed in the Monday blaze were supposed to be delivered to her clients.

She was on the way from Larkin, Johor, to her rented house in Jeram, Kuala Selangor, when a neighbour called to tell her about the fire that morning.

“I have been staying temporarily in Larkin where my husband is undergoing his dialysis,” she said.

Her 42-year-old husband suffers from a chronic kidney disease.

In the recent burglary, among her belongings that were stolen were a digital single-lens reflex camera, cooking gas tank, webcam, TV and a grass-cutting machine, said Marina.

For now, she is staying with a family member in Larkin.
