This month, the international broker OctaFX premiered a fresh educational video format on its official YouTube channel. Hosted and helmed by popular actor Fizo Omar, it is a limited series consisting of 12 episodes altogether, with two episodes airing weekly.
Show host Omar is not only switching up locations within the state with each episode but has a new conversation partner each time. That way, the viewers can catch up with local celebrities and entrepreneurs who are connected and essential to the given region’s or city’s economic development.
Among them are Chef Wan, actor and model Harris Annuar, the Malaysian Grand Slam explorer Qobin Mokhtar, and the national rock climbing athlete, Siti Nursara. Their economic and social contribution to the place is presented from their point of view as local business owners.
The strength and importance of local Malaysian businesses and Malaysia’s natural beauty are prominently on display, only adding to OctaFX’s past body of work in educational content.
The global broker is also eager to contribute to local communities, which is why during the show, it managed to find new partners for corporate social responsibility activities engaged in educational initiatives.
