ACTRESS Nad Zainal has tied the knot with fellow actor Ungku Ismail Aziz on Jan 23, Utusan Malaysia reported. This was revealed via an Instagram post by Irie and Jimie Whang – the designers of the couple’s outfit for their big day.

In a heartfelt post, the designers said the couple had given them the “trust” to keep their big day a secret.

“This is an honour for our seven years of friendship,” the post read.

“After seven years, and several tests, tears and prayers, Nad came to us and laid her trust on us to design the wedding outfit.

“Today, we are proud to congratulate and wish Nad Zainal and Ungku Ismail a happy married life. May they stay together for eternity.”

While the couple have yet to confirm the news, a short video showing the couple decked in their wedding outfits and walking towards the mosque while holding hands was posted by the designers on their brand’s Instagram account, Seth & Luna.

> Lovers of an expensive edible worm known as “ulat lamas” in Dalat, Sarawak, were delighted when they found the delicacy, which retails between RM400 and RM600 per kg, among the trees at KM7 Jalan Dalat-Sungai Kut.

Several lovers of the worm – considered an exotic food in Sarawak – were seen collecting them, according Berita Harian.

Senah Mat, 88, said the worms with shiny black shells, tasted good when boiled with water and salt or grilled.

“This worm is clean and good for health,” she added.

Senah said ulat lamas, which is a common dish among the Melanau community in Mukah, was loaded with fat, tasted sweet, and could be eaten with sago or rice.

However, it is not easily available and can only be found on nyatoh leaves in certain forests.

> A woman had a close shave after the nasi kerabu she ordered online came with extra ingredients – staples, Kosmo! reported.

“Found the staple while chewing. Thought it was a bone but discovered it was a staple,” she said in a Facebook post, adding that she immediately reported the incident to the food delivery platform.

She initially thought there was only one staple, but she found that there were at least 10 more.

Netizens reacted to the post with disappointment and called out the vendor for lack of compliance to safety and hygiene.
