Minor landslide causes slight damage to house in Kundasang

KOTA KINABALU: A landslide that occurred in Kundasang, Ranau on Friday (Jan 6) saw minor damage caused to a house, with no casualties recorded.

The Fire and Rescue Department received the report of the incident at Kampung Dumpring at 6.10pm.

“The landslide that happened at the back of the house caused minor damage.

“The team made a perimeter check and cordoned off the area with safety tape.

“After ensuring the safety of the area, the operation ended at 7pm,” said the Fire and Rescue Department spokesman.
