K-POP girl group aespa was the target of sexual harassment by a group of students after performing at an all-boys high school in central Seoul, South Korea, on Monday, China Press reported.

The four-member group by SM Entertainment had appeared as special guests during the Kyungbock High School’s anniversary celebration.

During the incident, the members had just finished performing and were leaving the stage when several boys rushed towards them and asked for selfies. More students also swarmed the group.

Without adequate security and bodyguards, the members were held up and could not get off the stage.

The students were also seen taking photos with the members, with some even trying to touch them.

Some photos with sexually inappropriate comments later circulated online, drawing outrage from social media users and fans.

The school had since issued two apologies.
