PETALING JAYA: With the upcoming Hari Raya festivities just ten days away, the National Action Council on Cost of Living (Naccol) held a meeting on Friday (April 22) to discuss issues affecting the cost of living in the country, including prices of essential goods.

The meeting, which was held in Putrajaya, was chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Also present at the meeting was Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

“The people’s livelihood has always been a priority for the government for the benefit of the greater Malaysian Family,” Dr Wee said in an Instagram post Friday (April 22).

The Naccol was established on Feb 7, 2018, to address issues and challenges related to cost of living.

It focuses on six key cluster working group committees, namely food, housing, education, transportation, utilities, and health.
