KUALA LUMPUR: All 123 Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) branches nationwide will open today to enable prospective pilgrims to respond to offer letters to perform the haj.
TH said the move came following the announcement to extend the deadline to respond to the offer letter to tomorrow.
Its acting executive director of operations, Mohamed Ameen Abdul Wahab, said prospective pilgrims for the 1443H/2022M haj season could visit any of its branch offices, which will operate between 8.45am and 4pm, to send in their reply letters with the treatment record book following the medical examination and an international passport.
“The decision was made to provide facilities to help prospective pilgrims even though Sunday is a holiday in most states. Depositors can also be present for savings and withdrawal services as well as the conversion of the status of a child’s account to an adult account,” he said.
