The CMCO was previously enforced from May 4 to May 12, 2020.

PUTRAJAYA: Many had previously expected Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to announce whether the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) will be continued or otherwise during the Prime Minister's special address on the Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan on Friday.

However, the expectation fizzled out when he did not make any announcement on the matter.

Instead, the Prime Minister focused on introducing the National Economic Regeneration Plan or PENJANA with the theme "Together Generating Economy".

The CMCO was previously enforced from May 4 to May 12, 2020.

It then went on for four weeks and will end on June 9.

With four days remaining before the end of the CMCO, there has been no decision by the government on whether to extend the period or otherwise.
