And not a moment too soon, as Celcom has decided to take the excitement up a notch by introducing a metaverse world exclusively to celebrate the football madness!
Known as Celcom Gila Bolaverse, it’s the first-ever metaverse world created by Celcom in conjunction with the world’s biggest and most-watched football tournament, to celebrate its football fan base. It’s an online game in which avatars appear in a virtual 3D football stadium and are able to interact with one another. Anyone and everyone is invited to be a part of this experience – yes, this includes both Celcom customers and non-customers!
From the 20th of November to the 20th of December 2022, visitors can explore and engage virtually with their own avatars; such as becoming Bolaverse Hunters to hunt down 32 top footballing nation’s flags to win exclusive prizes. There’s also the Gila-Gila Dance virtual flash mob that lets you dance with the crowd! Don’t forget to snap photos of you doing the Gila-Gila Dance and upload them to your social media to be part of the football madness!
