Infinix Malaysia has released a teaser on its official Facebook, announcing the imminent arrival of its new Infinix X3 smart TV series to the local market. Based on its India launch back in March this year, the series consists of a 32-inch model and a larger 43-inch variant.
Display-wise, the smaller 32-inch Infinix X3 smart TV sports a HD Ready panel with 1336 x 768 pixel resolution, whereas the 43-inch model comes with a FHD panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Both variants offer a high screen-to-body ratio with super slim bezels, 85% NTSC wide colour gamut, 350 nits of brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10 content support, and features the company’s own Anti Blue Ray technology.
On the hardware side of things, either model is powered by a Realtek RTD2841 quad core chipset, paired together with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Handling everything software related is the Android TV 11 operating system, which comes with support for numerous content streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube, as well as typical smart TV functions and Google Assistant capabilities.
In terms of connectivity, both the 32-inch and 43-inch models feature three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, mini YPbPr video output ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also onboard are support for WiFi and Bluetooth based wireless connections.
Both Infinix X3 smart TVs come with Dolby Audio-enhanced stereo audio output, though their setups actually differ from one another. Specifically, the 32-inch model features two box speakers with 20W total output, while the 42-inch variant is equipped with two box speakers and two tweeters which offer a total output of 36W.
In India, the 32-inch Infinix X3 smart TV launched at Rs 11,999 (~RM 674) and the 43-inch model is priced at Rs 19,999 (~RM 1,124). The brand has yet to announce the pricing and expected release date, but promises that the series will be “coming soon.”
