Benchmark numbers allegedly belonging to an Intel Core i9-13900HK mobile CPU have surfaced. As usual, the numbers were posted on the benchmark site and repository, Geekbench.

According to the component page and specifications, the 13900HK will be sporting the same number of cores and threads as the 12900HK, which is 14-cores, 20-threads. Based on that number, it doesn’t appear that Intel is planning on adding, let alone doubling the number of E-Cores for the CPU, just as it did with its desktop equivalent.

In other words, we’re probably still looking at six P-Cores for the 13900HK, presumably the latest and more powerful Raptor Cove cores, while the remaining eight cores will be E-Cores. Additionally, the CPU will supposedly run at a higher clock speed than its predecessor by 400MHz, putting its boost clock at 5.4GHz.

It also appears that the L2 Cache of the 13900HK remains the same as the 12900HK, although this may change as we get closer to the launch of Raptor Lake mobile’s launch.

Further details show that the alleged 13900HK was tested in what appears to be a Samsung-branded laptop, along with 32GB of DDR5 RAM. In terms of performance, the CPU is shown to have scored 1870 points on the Single-core test and 12436 points on the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.

Sadly, there is no additional detail about the 13900HK beyond this list, but as we said before, nothing has been set in stone for the mobile processor. As it stands, Intel itself has yet to make any official announcement of the series, and given the timeline, it is likely that we’ll only be seeing laptops fitted with 13th generation Raptor Lake Mobile CPU a little later down the road of 2023. Who knows, perhaps the chipmaker could double the number of E-Cores within this mobile processor, but until then, it would be best to apply some level of skepticism.
