Benchmark metrics allegedly belonging to an Intel ARC Alchemist GPU with 512 Execution Units (EUs) have made their way online. The performance numbers were supposed registered within the SiSoftware online repository.

First discovered by prominent leakster APISAK (@TUM_APISAK), the listing shows the Alchemist GPU sporting 4096 Cores, along with 12.8GB of GDDR6 graphics memory. The latter, by the way, is reportedly an error, as the actual number for the ARC Alchemist 512EU GPU is supposed to set at 16GB when it launches.

Getting on to its performance, the Alchemist GPU is listed as having scored 9017.52 Mpix/s in the SiSoftware benchmark. In contrast, that put the GPU ahead of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, which scored 8369.51 Mpix/s in the same benchmark. It’s the same story when it comes to the benchmark’s half-float, double-float, and quad float tests, but surprisingly, the Alchemist GPU with 512EU seems to trail behind the RTX 3070 Ti in the single-float Compute test.

It should be pointed out that this isn’t the first time the prowess of the Alchemist 512EU GPU has made an appearance. Prior to this, YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead not only made the claim that the card would be on par with the RTX 3070, but he was also the first to leak what is widely believed to be the card’s reference cooler design.
